Born in 1980, Alexandre Mattiussi studied at Duperré fashion design school in Paris, specializing in menswear design. Formerly working for Dior, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Mattiussi wanted to do a collection that he could really afford and wear. The designer launched his own brand in 2011: AMI.
